Object of study of the subject unit "Electrophysical and Electrochemical Methods of Material Processing": processes and equipment for processing materials with concentrated energy flows (electric discharge, ultrasound, plasma jet, laser radiation, electron beam, electromagnetic field, electric explosion, etc.).
   The subject of the study is the physical processes and phenomena that occur in the materials under the influence of the KPI, their mechanisms and physical and mathematical models, methods of calculation and determination of processing modes, technological characteristics of processes and equipment for their implementation.
